We are excited to announce that we are officially ready to start providing tournament experiences in the North Country! While we are not new to the tournament scene, this is a new spring and summer venture designed to help continue hockey year-round in the North Country.

Meet Our Leadership Team

President Stephen Moffat spends his winters as the Plattsburgh State Men’s Ice Hockey Coach. As a student-athlete, Moffat was one of the most decorated Cardinals in program history, earning two All-America honors while playing for Plattsburgh State from 1994–1998. The Hatboro, PA native recorded 205 career points (106 goals, 99 assists) and still ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in goals (3rd), points (6th), and assists (tied for 11th).

He led Plattsburgh State to SUNYAC titles during both his junior and senior seasons, earning SUNYAC Tournament MVP honors in 1996–97. Moffat was also a three-time All-SUNYAC selection and was named SUNYAC Co-Rookie of the Year in 1994–95. He was later inducted into the Plattsburgh State Athletic Hall of Fame and named to the Cardinal All-Decade Team (1995–2004).

After graduating, Moffat played professionally in the ECHL, skating for the Northeast Division champion Columbus Chill (1998–99). The following season, he helped the Florida Everblades earn the league’s best record and the 2000 Southeast Division crown.

Vice President Beth spends her winter months with Plattsburgh Youth Hockey, coordinating tournaments. She also serves as the team manager and scheduler for the Plattsburgh Jr. Cardinals 10U and 12U coed teams.
